I am very fortunate to have discovered the Low Country. I still can’t get over it’s beauty and I must admit it influences the work that I do. The charm and traditions of Charleston have inspired the products I create, including Charleston Sweetgrass, Blooming Jasmine, Sweet Tea, and Southern Magnolia. My recent creation, Goats Milk & Honey Bath Soak even includes a local oyster shell instead of a spoon. Why use a spoon when you have beautiful oyster shells straight from nature? This inspiration is, what I believe, what makes my products beautiful and unique.
That’s me, The Charleston Soap Chef. Never planned it, or imagined it…not in a million years! I came into this business almost by accident. It was a hobby that snowballed into a business, I love what I do and I do my very best to make quality products and to keep my customers happy. I have been making bodycare for nine years now and I am pretty much obsessed. I love scents, everything from fresh oranges to the smell of the sea. I am always learning about the best ways to care for skin, by simply choosing the right natural & high-quality ingredients, caring for your skin can be easy, feel luxurious while still being affordable.
You can find me at the Charleston Farmers Market at Marion Square every Saturday 8:00-2:00 (April-Dec). My products are also sold at Charleston Cooks!, the garden market at Middleton Place Plantation, Simply Your Spa, and Silver Puffin.
My goal is to make people happy by providing excellent products made with high-quality ingredients to make you feel good on the inside and out. I do my best to keep my prices reasonable, as I think we all need to indulge a little bit. I am a one-woman-show and do everything myself out of my home. This allows for tons of flexibility and I would love to hear your input and ideas. I am happy to provide party favors for special occasions, create custom blends and private label products for you as well. As I mentioned before, my business has “snowballed” and I am thankful for every customer and every person reading this on my website. It makes me so happy to make my customers happy, and I truly value your suggestions and ideas.
